Suzuki mounted Frankie Lettieri #461 had his way in the mud for the most part on Saturday in the B classes. He looked really good in the very slick, muddy conditions and he was seemingly on a mission. And it looks like the mission is half over for this young rising star. With the mod classes yet to come, I hope the NJ native brought enough tear-offs for the weekend, and enough water to clean everything! While no shortage for the water on the track, the drums to wash the bikes are needing a 24/7 refill. Frankie Looked really good in the mud and found his way to the front often and walked away one moto by 15 seconds or more! Nice ride #461!

Top national 50cc rider Jack Rogers #351 takes a minute to stretch out his left hammy, while checking out the competition, on the fence in staging at the Doublin Gap facility. Jack had some great rides at the national last year in the 4-6 class. This year Jack is in the 7-8 classes. I would think with the skills this little guy has already, he will adapt very quick and make the adjustments he needs too. When I get to see the #351 at the races I always watch the lil guy. He has some solid skills and very good speed. I am shocked at what he jumps and he is always at the front of the pack and knows what to do once he gets their too. Good luck Jack!

A few weeks back, I ran a few pics of this little guy here, Red Bull, Factory Connection, Honda rider Cooper Webb. I had a few questions on who he was. Trust me, he's worth watching ride. I had the pleasure to meet him and his mom in Crystal Coast NC.. I watch him ride several days that week I was down in NC. ( his home turf ) This kid has some hype behind him, but for good reason. I would have liked to see him make the 10 hour trip up on a sunny weekend so he could have enjoyed the track more and the racing would have been a bit better as well. Cooper ran well all day Saturday, top 3 but one moto he had a DNF from a bike failure.

The #28 of Alexander Frye is another super fast kid on the move and doing it in style. From the 65cc class to the 85's now. He is always at the front and has a big smile doing it. This is a kid I usually see on the video's by the "Woz' or East.MX.com's Jace Wade. Their reach is a bit further than mine. But when I have seen thiskid, he has had the throttle twisted and the KTM at the front. He's one talented id and if everything go's the way it has been for the #28 machine, he'll have a great 09' season.

The A classes had soem killer action in them though they were some what thin. But Cernic's Rider Dylan Slusser's#505 stole one 250F win and AMS's Broc Schmelyun went 3/4 in the other A class races. And Patrick Walser #91 and the #25 of Savidge were keeing both the #505 and #111 honest with solid rides. These guys all rode geart in tough conitions and put on a great shown for the fans. These guys can all look at it this rain filled weekend in that it kept some at home and made it easier to make it inm in some class like your A and Plus classes. The youth, C and B classes were just packed.

Saturday was supposed to be the best of the two days this weekend. Well if that is true, It will really be a mess. But the mud always allows for the element of surprise and some guys, and girsl, sree just plan fast in the mud! Anything is possible in that case and you may have to ride it at Loretta's anyway. So I guess it's best to be prepared and know what to do to in it. Everyone I saw seemed just take in stride mostly. The Yenzter's did a great job to even make the track rideable.  And I know more rain is coming, but Jeff and Rod will do all they can to make it the best it can be for the amount of rain we have seen in the 24 hours or so here in the area. I wish you all the best, and hope you are all safe raciing and driving home tomorrow. Thank you for visiting my site.
